C.P. Company was initially called Chester Perry and founded in 1971 in Bologna, Italy by designer Massimo Osti (1944-2005). He sold to GFT (Gruppo Finanziario Tessile) in 1984 but stayed working with the company as a designer until 1994. In 1993 it was bought by Carlo Rivetti and became part of a larger group called Sportswear Company. Since 2015 C.P. Company has been owned by Tristate Holdings Limited.

Technical waistcoat made from Dynalfil TS-70 which features a C.P. Company branded Maglite flashlight that is carried through loops on the back.

The gilet features wind-resistant pockets and a sliding belt with buckle closure. Constructed from Dynalfil TS-70 bonded to a nylon base and features a removable C.P. Company brand patch in addition to the branded torch.
