History

Martine Rose (1980-) established her eponymous label in 2007 with a loan from the Prince's Trust. Her designs are inspired by her Jamaican-British heritage, her involvement in music, and her community in north London. Three of her collections were featured as part of Fashion East, the first for Spring Summer 2011. In 2014 she received the NEWGEN MEN award and in 2017 she was shortlisted for the LMVH and ANDAM Prizes.
